Flint Hill Mansion Wedding: Courtney + Brandon 11.3.13

Courtney and Brandon decided to have their wedding at Flint Hill Mansion in Gwinnett, Ga. Flint Hill is a very beautiful place to have a wedding if you’re thinking about getting hitched here. The staff was friendly and very helpful , always a plus. But lets get to fun stuff! The day started very early, but lucky for me the venue was literally a 9 minute drive from my place. From the moment we got there, things started to get hectic pretty right away, a little bit of foreshadowing for things to come later in the day I guess. Both families were absolutely wonderful and on time!

Courtney and Brandon, I think you two are pretty awesome. Together you make people feel completely at ease and ready to celebrate your love. Thank you for allowing me to document your first day as husband and wife. It was an honor and I look forward to what the future has in store for you both. Much Love and Appreciation.

Courtney’s father passed away when she was a baby. So her two brothers walked her down the aisle.

The goofy bridal party. Very fun group!

And they’re off to their honeymoon!

The Best Wedding Invitations…EVER!!!

My best man Joe Veazey designed these wonderful invitations for me and my fiance. They were to be designed like a photo package. Instead of having a traditional boring wedding invitations we decided to go a different route. We wanted to show our creative side in an invitation that represented both of us. But we also wanted something that everybody could relate to. Who can not relate going to the 1-hr Wal-Mart or CVS photo department and leaving you pictures to be developed, printed, and packaged? The best part was always getting your package and going through the plethera of pictures. Originally we wanted to put more pictures in our invitations, but it would have been too much. So we just kept it simple, in the invitation the recipient received a photograph of us (as a keepsake), the actual invite, information card (directions, hotels, phone numbers, gift registry, etc), and the RSVP card.

So in all we were really pleased with our invitation. We watched it grow from simple sketches, to mock ups, and then the final product. Everyone who has received an invitatoin has been absolutely aww strucked from the creativity behind it.
Thanks a bunch Joe.
